So Far...

1718 Coverlet so far.
I had to put it sideways to fit it in the picture.
4.5 inch blocks

My challenges:

I'm piecing it by hand like the original maker did (mosaic patchwork).
I'm using only solids.
There's a whole lot of applique blocks coming up.

Joining the tribe at Kathy's Quilts for some Slow Sunday Stitching later on today.

I was wondering how this was coming along--it's looking good. You are stepping right up to the challenge! Hugs, Julierose

Loving this in these lovely solids!

You are making good progress, especially given that it is hand pieced. I like how this is coming together and the colours work really well.

Little by little, eh? Looking great, so far!

Are you sewing the blocks together as you go, or leaving them loose?
And are you looking forward to the applique, or dreading it?
