Sweet

Rehearsing Kona Cocoa I ordered on line and received today.
I thought it would be darker but I guess it will do okay as a background for the blocks.
Not sure what to use yet for centers. Any ideas?

Clearing out my chocolate, cupcake and candy stash - mostly pinks and browns.

Love the Dresdens! I too am on the same kick. I would go for another solid in the center, maybe a nice brown. They look beautiful, I can't wait to see the end result!

Wow are those pretty and they look fantastic on the Cocoa! I agree with Amy a nice solid in the middle, maybe one of those shades of golden yellow in there, so very pretty.

Nice Dresdens! Fabrics are so pretty. I'm no expert, but when I'm in a dilemna about color, I look at a color wheel, or one of the bigger color cards at a paint store... what I am looking for is the "complement" or opposite of the most dominate color in the pieced block. Adding that can give a spike of interest. The b/g you have chosen looks super with your blocks. Good luck; can't wait to see what you come up with!

Your Dresdens looks cute and love the cocoa background. I agree with the others, a solid for the center. Thanks for sharing!

What about a black and white polka dot for a modern feel? Or black and gold is there such a fabric?

Another vote for a solid for the center. If you have that yellow/gold like in the 'cupcake' on the upper right I'd try that for a 'pop' of color!
